Axel Weiler appointed Head of Group Business Development
Axel Weiler has been appointed as Head of Group Business Development and Member of the Executive Committee of Ascom as of 1 April 2012.
Axel Weiler earned a Diploma in Industrial Engineering and Management (Diplomingenieur) at the Technical University of Berlin and a PhD (Dr.rer.pol.) at the Technical University of Chemnitz. For the last six years he worked with the German group Franz Haniel & Cie. in Duisburg, since 2008 as Head of Business Development / Inhouse Consulting and in a previous position as Head of Mergers & Acquisitions.
Axel Weiler has a solid track record in strategic business development and sound experience in M&A. Axel Weiler worked very much across industry, including engineering and IT. He also gained broad experience in trade and business services. Axel Weiler is a German citizen.
